to the TJ Walker Esports teams as they kicked off the 2026 season Monday afternoon.
TJW 1, the defending state champions, won in dominant fashion, defeating Rural Virtual Academy 4 games to 1. Picking up victories were Hawkeye Chaudoir, Everett Evans, and Oliver Strege.
TJW 2 lost a close match vs Medford Middle School, losing 3 - 2. Jaxson Guth was the lone winner for team 2.
TJW 3 battled TJW 4, with TJW 3 winning 3 to 2. Greyson Howard picked up a victory, and Emily Marolda won two matches in her esports debut.
We are still looking for players to fill out team 2 and team 4. Games are Monday nights from 4:00 - 5:00 pm. See Mr. Jacobson if you are interested.
